Y'all got your cup of ambition ready? It's Give Like Dolly Day! Your contribution of any amount supports literacy and developing little readers in Calhoun County, and in the most rural county in the state, a little goes a long way. Donate at: https://imaginationlibrary.com/usa/affiliate/ARCALHOUN/

Calhoun County has one of the highest rates of enrollment in Arkansas (over 80%!) but we'd really love to be at 100%. If you know a young person under age 5, make sure they are signed up to receive a free book in the mail every month through the Arkansas Imagination Library at this link: https://imaginationlibrary.com/usa/affiliate/ARCALHOUN/

Today is National Voter Registration Day! Did you know that we can help you register to vote and check your voter registration? If you come by today and let us help you check your registration or register to vote before the October 5 registration deadline, we've got stickers! 🤓

An FYI for anyone evacuated with little ones!

Locust Bayou/Calhoun County Fire
If your family is temporarily displaced by the fire in Locust Bayou/Calhoun Co., and you have preschool children age 18mo. to Kindergarten, you may bring them free of charge to First Step Preschool in Fordyce to allow children a safe nurturing environment while the family checks on damage, secures property, and makes arrangement for temporary or long term displacement. For assistance, contact the Director Stephanie Abbott of First Step Fordyce.
