Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming our Smith families into the building for a special lunchtime experience filled with smiles, laughter, connections, and memories!

Families enjoyed sharing lunch with their students, capturing special moments at our festive photo backdrop, and leaving their mark on our Smith Wall by sharing encouraging words, positive messages, and a little love for our Smith Village!

We were also excited to welcome two of our amazing community partners, Alternatives, Inc. and Hampton Economic Empowerment, who joined us to connect with families and share valuable resources and opportunities!

Thank you to our wonderful families and community partners for continuing to make our Smith Village so special!

Thank you for joining us for our Anchored in Family: Fall Family Lunch! Your presence, participation, and continued support mean so much to our school community. The partnership between families and school is a powerful catalyst for student growth and success, and together, we can make waves!

As we look forward to our next family event, we encourage everyone to allow our Sharks to remain at school for the entire instructional day. We know it can be tempting to take your child home with you after spending special time together, but attendance matters, and every day counts! Every minute of learning helps our Sharks grow, achieve, and succeed.

Thank you for partnering with us as we keep our Sharks Anchored in Achievement!

“I’m Not the Principal!”

We couldn't let this fun trend pass us by, especially during Principal Appreciation Month!

We have lots of amazing people in our Smith village, but there's only ONE principal!

We had a little fun passing the camera around before revealing the person who keeps our Smith Sharks swimming in the right direction!

A HUGE shoutout to our very own Ms. Brown! Thank you for your leadership, your energy, your heart for our students and staff, and everything you do to make Smith such a special place!

We appreciate you more than you know! 💙

Watch until the end to see who REALLY leads the school!
