🚒🔥 Fire Prevention Day at West Yadkin Elementary School! 🔥🚒

The West Yadkin Volunteer Fire Department had a great time visiting West Yadkin Elementary School for Fire Prevention Day! ❤️

We enjoyed spending time with the students, teaching them about fire safety, the importance of having an escape plan, and what to do in case of a fire. We hope the students learned some valuable lessons that they can take home and share with their families!

A big thank you to the staff at West Yadkin Elementary for welcoming us and helping make fire prevention education a priority. We are proud to serve our community and help teach the next generation how to stay safe! 🧑‍🚒🚒

Remember: Fire safety starts with YOU! ❤️🔥

🔥🚒 COMMUNITY NOTICE – CONTROLLED BURN 🚒🔥

The West Yadkin Volunteer Fire Department will be conducting a controlled burn this Saturday, September 26, near the end of Marler Road and Old 421. This controlled burn will provide an important training opportunity for our firefighters.

⚠️ TRAFFIC & SAFETY NOTICE: Traffic in the area may be slowed, temporarily stopped, or otherwise impacted during the training. Smoke may also reduce visibility at times.

Please slow down, use extra caution, and stay alert when traveling through the area. Watch for firefighters, emergency vehicles, equipment, and changing traffic conditions. For everyone’s safety, please do not stop along the roadway to watch the burn and give emergency personnel plenty of room to work.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as our firefighters complete this valuable training!

📢 Please share to help spread the word to our community.
