A strong storm diving south from the Pacific NW will stall just off shore of Southern California. Tropical moisture from the remnants of Trudy will then be pulled northward. Rain with embedded thunderstorms training over the same areas for several hours can lead to flooding in the very vulnerable cities and towns of east Kern county and the high Sierra of Tulare county. This covers the 24 hr period beginning at 5a Wednesday through 5am Thursday.

The atmosphere is taking a chill pill🥶! After this latest string of above normal temperatures (grody), the Central Valley will see some totally rad temperatures in the normal to slightly below normal category. This is thanks to a shortwave trough and a low pressure system coming in. On Sunday into Monday, the shortwave will come in. That low pressure system quickly replaces it, as models show the low pressure system beginning it's descent into California on Monday afternoon. With it, there are rain chances expected for the Valley this time. Cool beans! 😎
