Due to damage from the recent storm, County Route 51 has been closed in two areas: between S***m Road and Shady Lane, and between School Hill Road and Lydon Lane. The extent of the damage, which includes large trees entangled with power lines across both lanes, makes it uncertain when these segments will reopen.

In the meantime, please plan your route accordingly and avoid these areas.

Furthermore, remember that downed power lines pose a significant risk; never assume they are safe to touch. Only trained professionals should handle such situations.
