A BIG thank you to Rebel Pig Smokehouse & Catering - aka Rebel Smash for hosting last week's Dine United! Pictured are just TWO of the amazing Rebel family members who make this place so special! Doug and his entire team are truly incredible, and we are so grateful for their continued support of United Way year after year. Our United Way office will be OPEN this week for ladies to shop for dresses, purchase Mom Prom tickets, or pick up tickets they've already purchased!

New location, same great food, same friendly faces, and the same wonderful service we've come to know and love! ❤️

Doug and his crew have made the move from The Rebel Pig in downtown Palmyra to their new location outside of town, and we're excited to see them in their new space!

They're serving up 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁, 𝗹𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵, 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿! And we've already given the breakfast sandwich a try this morning — it was AWESOME! 😋

Our Queen Candidate spotlights are giving us the chance to introduce you to some incredible women who spend their days making a difference in our local communities — and 𝗧𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 certainly fits that description!

Tiffany is the proud mom of Korbyn and Ella and serves as Director of Panther Cub Childcare for the Palmyra R-I School District. With more than 26 years of experience in early childhood, Tiffany likes to say she “grew up in childcare” and is still a big kid at heart! She is a graduate of Hannibal-LaGrange University with a degree in Child Development and was raised in the cornfields of Ralls County.

Tiffany loves volunteering and supporting children, youth and families throughout our area. Strong in her faith, she is involved with both The Crossing and Harvest Bible Church and enjoys participating in international and local missions.

In 2024, Tiffany also co-founded 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗔𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀, a sobriety and mental health support group that provides women with a safe community where they can connect, have fun and support one another. ❤️

👑 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧 𝗗𝗘𝗕𝗕𝗜𝗘 𝗛𝗔𝗬𝗦! 👑

Our next Queen Candidate already knows a thing or two about superheroes — and she believes 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 is the biggest superpower of all! 🦸‍♀️👑 It's time to meet 𝗗𝗲𝗯𝗯𝗶𝗲 𝗛𝗮𝘆𝘀!

Debbie has proudly called Hannibal home for the past 17 years and is employed by the State of Missouri. She is the mother of two adult children, both of whom proudly served in the United States Air Force.

Debbie is also the Director of Big River Comic Con and a Hannibal Chamber of Commerce Ambassador. For the past eight years, she has used Big River Comic Con as another way to give back and support organizations throughout the community. Those efforts have helped Big River Comic Con earn the Key to the City of Hannibal in 2021 and the 2023 Hannibal Community Betterment Award.

When Debbie was asked to join our Mom Prom Queen Court, she said YES — because she truly believes 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗜𝗦 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗣𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥! ❤️

A big personality, an entrepreneurial spirit AND a heart for her community — our next Queen Candidate brings all three! 👑 Meet 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻!

Amanda is a longtime registered nurse, entrepreneur and owner of Shine Clean Company — but the titles she's proudest of are wife, mom and grandma!

Amanda loves finding reasons to bring people together, have a little fun and turn that fun into something that can make a difference. That sounds like a pretty perfect fit for 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗪𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝗺 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺 to us, and we're excited to have Amanda as part of this year's Queen Court!

If you've spent much time around Hannibal events, festivals or community activities, there's a good chance you've seen our next Queen Candidate lending a hand! We're excited to introduce you to 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗖𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘀!

Melissa is a mother of three with a passion for volunteering and youth organizations. She serves as Alumni Relations Coordinator and Admissions Counselor for Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing & Health Sciences, works in freelance social media and website marketing/design, and is a certified dance and fitness instructor.

Melissa served as coordinator of Hannibal's Tom & Becky Program from 2010–2025 and helped bring back the historic Tomboy Sawyer Contest during National Tom Sawyer Days this past summer. She volunteers with festivals and fundraisers throughout Hannibal and Quincy and serves as a Hannibal Chamber Ambassador. When she gets a little downtime, Melissa and her mini Aussie, Bentley, enjoy being outdoors, hiking, walking, kayaking and traveling!

👑 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧 𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗗𝗚𝗘𝗧𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗥! 👑

One of the best parts of our Mom Prom Queen Campaign is getting to introduce you to women from across the communities we serve! Today, we're heading to Monroe City to introduce 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿!

Bridgett loves people and a good story. She's a wife and mother, works in HR at Learning Opportunities/Quality Works, Inc. and serves as Project Coordinator for Monroe City Heart & Soul.

She's also one of the childhood friends who make up Monroe City Hometown Volunteers, a P.E.O. sister, attends First Baptist Church and enjoys Pilates at The Reform Room. Community is clearly an important part of Bridgett's story, and we're thrilled she said YES to joining our Queen Court!
