𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐏𝐖: Middle School Roofing Project

The roofing overlay project at Hanover Middle School is nearing completion.

Approved at the May 2026 Town Meeting, this project covers approximately 37,000 square feet of roofing to address the aging roof condition and help prevent leaks into the building.

Our DPW Facilities group has overseen the project, working with our contractor, Gibson Roofs, to complete this important investment in one of Hanover’s school buildings.

The new roofing system is expected to extend the life of the roof by more than 10 years, helping protect the building, reduce the risk of future leaks, and minimize more costly roofing repairs down the road.

We’re glad to see this project nearing the finish line. Thank you to the residents of Hanover for supporting this important investment in our school facilities!

Fiscal Year 2027 second-quarter real estate tax bills are due on Monday, November 2, 2026.

Payments must be received by the due date to avoid interest charges. Residents are encouraged to plan ahead and allow time for mailing if paying by mail.
