What a busy day at the library! This afternoon, middle school students had fun getting henna tattoos. and in the evening, author Stephen Puleo delighted crowds with stories about the North End from his book The Boston Italians.

A huge thank you to the Hanson Public Library Foundation and its generous memorial donors for making these special programs possible! The henna program was sponsored by the Mary “Gret” Lozeau Memorial Fund, and Stephen Puleo returned thanks to donations made in memory of Fred Cafardo, the late husband of Library Trustee Chair and HPL Foundation Director Corinne Cafardo. We are grateful for the generosity of our community, which helps us bring engaging speakers and enriching programs to Hanson residents.
