We started out this summer reading journey by reading How Do Dinosaurs Stay Friends by Jane Yolen & Mark Teague. That was 06/09/26, on 06/11/26 at age 87 Jane Yolen passed away 😢,
So yesterday there was no better book to finish out our summer program then How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight, my kids favorite bedtime book when they were little!

Picking prizes!

07/01/2026

We did it! Summer is over! Lol.
The kids had a great time and made out like bandits with lots of fun prizes!
We had a good year! A total of 76 attended over the 4 event days and 105 books were read!
Pretty cool if you ask me!
I was carful to be fair in picking the order that the kids picked prizes in, based on books read then days attended. I don’t think anyone felt cheated or disappointed so I think it was the right way to do it!

Tomorrow is the big last day! Bring your reading logs and take home prizes!
P A R T Why? Because we gotta!

This Tuesday the 30th will be the last day of summer reading!
The kids should all have their reading logs with them when they come as those will affect the drawing order for prizes!
