We’re excited to partner with the Heroes & Hope Foundation in their efforts to support the Manna Food Project and the people we serve. Visit Petoskey D&W and consider donating $1, $5 or $10 at checkout. 100% of funds raised will help provide a lifeline for individuals and families facing food insecurity, helping to ensure that no one goes without food.

A big thank you to Bill's Farm Market and the students of Crooked Tree High School for picking 6 bins of pumpkins and squash to give out to our neighbors. In addition to gleaning at the farm, this wonderful students provide weekly support to our food bank operations packing mobile food pantry boxes, assembling produce bags, stocking our food pantry, packing Food 4 Kids bags, and much more. We are so grateful for our partnership with these two wonderful organizations!

September may be ending, but our commitment to fighting hunger continues.

This month, we've shared facts about hunger in our communities and talked about why access to nutritious food matters.

But most importantly, we want to celebrate you - the food and fund donors, volunteers, farmers, partners, advocates, and community members who make this work possible.

Together, we are doing more than providing food. We are building a healthier, stronger, more food-secure Northern Michigan.

Today is Hunger Action Day - a powerful reminder that ending hunger takes all of us.

Maybe your action is a donation. Maybe it's volunteering. Maybe it's sharing what you've learned this month. Maybe it's talking with your business, church, school, or community group about how you can help.

Whatever your action looks like, it matters.

Together, we can build a community where everyone has access to nutritious food.
