Roberta and I are deeply saddened about the passing of Bill Watkins. Bill co-founded one of the premier regional CPA firms, Watkins Uiberall, guiding individuals and businesses throughout the Mid-South. Bill was also involved and led a number of civic and philanthropic endeavors, such as the Germantown Performing Arts Centre Board of Directors, Boy Scouts of America, the Associated Builders and Contractors, and the Tennessee Board of Regents.

Bill was a strong force in Tennessee politics, serving as a Chairman of the Republican Party of Shelby County and Campaign Treasurer for numerous local, state, and federal candidates.

Bill was an amazing friend to many and a good man. He was a great friend to Roberta and me. Our prayers are with his wife, Jeanette, and his children, Renee and Trey.
