So it’s that time of the year again…. The old Concord Fire Truck is getting more winter work done on it making sure it’s in the best running condition for it’s up coming 100th birthday June 2027.
A huge thank you to Pierce at Vintage Garage in Stowe for sending his mechanic Jack to work with us today to get the transmission pulled to do a clutch rebuild. It’s on its way back to their shop to work on it this winter. He’s donating his time and mechanics time for the rebuild. We only need to pay for parts.
As you can imagine, parts for a 100 year old vehicle aren’t cheap and lots of times they have to be specially made / hand made.
If you can and would like to donate funds to help out in the upkeep on HFD’s old truck, you can mail a check to Hardwick Fire Department in memo put Concord Fire Truck and mail to:

Thank for all the donations in years past. If not for those, we wouldn’t have been able to use the old truck in all events that we have.
The truck is very special to our members and we do our best to keep it in the public eye for all to enjoy.
Great Thanks,
