Congratulations to Braden on completing his training to become a qualified squad driver!

New Squad Driver in Paxtonia

Congratulations to Braden Benedict for completing all the requirements to be cleared as a certified driver on Squad 34. Braden has put in countless hours behind the wheel and at the pump panel to achieve this qualification.

Our driver training program requires members to complete multiple classes while also logging hours and miles on each of our apparatus. The final evaluation is responding to an emergency call efficiently and safely. The hours of training and testing are put to work in a real life incident under the supervision of another qualified driver.

🔥 Old School Night at Paxtonia 🔥

Following today’s Open House, Paxtonia Fire Company hosted our first “Old School Night,” bringing together current and past members of the company for an evening of brotherhood, memories, and tradition.

Tonight was a great reminder of what the brotherhood of the fire service is all about. Past members had the opportunity to reconnect, relive old memories, tell a few stories, and share some of Paxtonia’s history with the current generation of members.

The faces and apparatus may change over the years, but the friendships, traditions, and pride in Company 34 remain.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made our first Old School Night one to remember. Here’s to the members who came before us, those serving today, and keeping the traditions of Paxtonia Fire Company alive for generations to come.

Once Paxtonia, always Paxtonia.

Reminder to everyone that our open house is still going on until 2pm today!! Bring your family and friends to meet our members, see the fire trucks, have your face painted, go through the fire safety trailer, and raffles!!

🚒 JOIN US THIS SATURDAY!

Our Paxtonia 34 Fire Company are opening their doors to the community this Saturday!

This is a great opportunity to meet some of the career and volunteer firefighters who serve Lower Paxton Township, see the station and apparatus, and learn more about your local fire service.

Events like this are also a chance for our residents to see firsthand what makes our combination system work, career and volunteer personnel working together to protect our community.

Bring the family, stop by, ask questions and spend some time with the crews!

We’re less than a week away from the Paxtonia Fire Company Open House! Come spend the day with us, meet your local firefighters, check out the station, and enjoy a day of fun for the whole family!

🚒 Paxtonia Open House — Save the Date! 🚒

We’re excited to invite our community to join us for the Paxtonia Fire Company Open House on Saturday, October 3rd from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM at 125 S. Johnson Street, Harrisburg, PA 17112!

Bring the whole family out for a fun day at the firehouse. Tour the station and our apparatus, meet your local firefighters, check out apparel for sale, enter raffles for some great prizes, and enjoy plenty of activities for the kids.

This is a great opportunity to see where we train, learn more about what we do, and spend some time with the volunteers who serve our community.
