We are experiencing a critical Ray shortage. ๐๐
Ray Marino, left, and Ray Blouch have retired from our 911 office.
Ray Blouch worked for us for 28 years. He first walked through our doors in November 1998.
He is a retired member of the United States Air Force , where he served for 15 years in avionics maintenance and five years in disaster preparedness.
He has had many roles here. His latest had him logging thousands of miles to visit county 911 partners across Pennsylvania to help them with training and certification requirements, as well as with quality assurance.
Ray Marino joined us as a 911 telecommunications specialist in July 2019 after a lifelong career in private sector communications.
A U.S. Coast Guard veteran, he logged more than 30,000 miles traveling across the state to help counties through important 911 tech updates.
โI had the best damned time meeting and working with all the amazing folks in our PSAPs [Public Safety Answering Points],โ he said. โI had a blast! Pennsylvania is truly blessed and fortunate to have these dedicated professionals, and I am proud to know them.โ
These two men have made a lasting difference, one that will keep Pennsylvanians safer for years to come.
Please join us in wishing them a happy, healthy, and well-deserved retirement! ๐๐
