On Friday, students had some fun during Guidance while practicing the important skill of teamwork!

Students worked together to complete a variety of challenges using cups, keeping them balanced, working to space them evenly, and figuring out how to accomplish each task together. Along the way, they practiced patience, communication, cooperation, and having a group mindset. It was a great reminder that teamwork takes effort from every individual.

What an incredible day at Infinity Charter School!

Our Cultural Festival, held in connection with the curriculum in our 3rd–5th grade classrooms, brought learning to life through games, music, dance, food, and cultural exploration from around the world.

Students had the opportunity to learn about Israel from special guest presenters, play a traditional Māori stick game from New Zealand, learn the art of taekwondo with Himalayan Taekwondo, and enjoy amazing cultural dance performances and instruction. We were honored to welcome dancers from Carraig School of Irish Dance, Indian dance instructor Bansari Hanna, and two talented dancers from the Central Pennsylvania Chinese Association.

One of the highlights of the day was the incredible variety of food generously donated by our families. Students sampled more than 20 cultural dishes representing diverse backgrounds and traditions from around the world.

We are grateful to all of our volunteers, presenters, performers, and families whose donations and support made this event possible!

We’ve had an awesome few weeks at Infinity Charter School filled with wonderful guest speakers and special visitors!

Our students had the privilege of welcoming the Dauphin County Library, Lower Paxton Police, and the Harrisburg Senators, who spent time reading and connecting with our students. Middle school students explored the fascinating world of fossils with Professor Jasinski from Harrisburg University, while Penn State shared important lessons on poison prevention.
These experiences help bring learning to life and create lasting impressions for our students. We are so grateful for the time, knowledge, and care each of our visitors brought into our school community!

We had a special visitor in our classrooms today! Ed Russo from Local 21 CBS News, WHP Harrisburg stopped by to read a fun book to all of our Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade students for Read Across America week. It was a wonderful experience for our children and a great opportunity to celebrate the joy of reading. 📖 ♥️
