Happy National Friends of Libraries Week!

We at the Dauphin County Library System want to thank our wonderful Friends Groups for their continued support in helping our libraries thrive. We love our Friends groups; without their yearly booksales, advocacy, and volunteer efforts, we wouldn’t have the libraries we know and love today.

Thank you to the Friends of Elizabethville Area Library, the McCormick & Olewine Library Friends (MOLF), the Friends of Northern Dauphin Library (FOND), the Friends of the East Shore Area Library (FESAL), the Friends of Alexander Family Library, and the Friends of Love Memorial Library!

Your continued support helps our libraries thrive and lets us serve our community!

We all need a vacation – why not take one over your lunch break?

It might not be sun and sand or a rocky mountain retreat, but the Johnson Memorial Library is still a relaxing place to hang out. Join us on November 18th for Weekday Getaway. We’ll have coloring pages, puzzles, games, and other low-stress activities to enjoy – just bring your lunch and unwind with us!

No registration required. Program runs from 4:30pm – 6:00pm.
