🗳️ WANT TO VOTE EARLY? YOU CAN VOTE ON DEMAND!

Did you know you don’t have to wait until Election Day to cast your ballot?
Dauphin County voters can use on-demand mail-in voting at the Dauphin County Bureau of Elections, 1251 S. 28th Street, Harrisburg.

The process is simple: apply for your mail-in ballot in person, receive your ballot, complete it there, properly seal and sign your return envelope, and hand it back to an Elections Office official before you leave.

One trip. Your ballot completed and returned. ✅

This can be a great option if you know Election Day will be busy, you’ll be away, or you simply want to get voting checked off your to-do list.

Make your plan. Make your voice heard.

📬 DAUPHIN COUNTY MAIL-IN BALLOTS ARE ON THE WAY!

If you requested a mail-in ballot for the November 3 General Election, keep an eye on your mailbox! Dauphin County mail ballots have been mailed and are making their way to voters.

Once yours arrives, take a few minutes to carefully follow the instructions. Complete your ballot, seal it in the yellow secrecy envelope, then place it inside the outer return envelope. Be sure to complete the voter declaration on the outside.

🔎 Want to know where your ballot is?
You can track your mail ballot—from its status to when your completed ballot is received—using Pennsylvania’s official ballot tracker: https://www.pavoterservices.pa.gov/pages/ballottracking.aspx

📅 Important: Your completed ballot must be RECEIVED by the Dauphin County Elections Office no later than 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 3. A postmark is not enough.

Don’t wait until the last minute. Vote it. Seal it. Return it. Track it. 🗳️

Please share this information with friends, family, and neighbors who are voting by mail!

👀 Okay, so we were going to introduce you to everyone joining us at the DCDC Fall Mixer…

But we decided some things are better left as a surprise. 😉

We’ve already announced an incredible lineup of leaders who represent service, labor, community and our Democratic family…and there’s still more to Tuesday night than what you’ve seen on your timeline. Consider this your sign to be in the room. ‼️

This week, we’re dropping all of our confirmed speakers for our Fall Fundraiser Mixer! Here’s one you’ll all know— and this one is family!

📣We’re excited to welcome State Senator Patty Kim to the DCDC Fall Mixer!

Patty doesn’t need much of an introduction in Dauphin County. She’s been serving our communities for years, first on Harrisburg City Council, then representing the 103rd District in the State House, and now representing Dauphin County’s 15th Senatorial District in the Pennsylvania Senate. 👏🏽

She’s a trailblazer, a champion for working families, and most importantly, one of our own. She knows this county, she knows our communities, and she continues to show up for the people who call them home.

So this announcement feels a little less like introducing a guest and a lot more like saying: Patty, we saved you a seat. Welcome home. 💙🌊

📣 FROM THE STEEL MILL TO STATEWIDE LEADERSHIP — THIS ONE IS CLOSE TO HOME!

We’re excited to welcome Maurice Cobb, Secretary-Treasurer of the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO, as a featured speaker at the DCDC Fall Fundraiser Mixer! 🍂

A fourth-generation union member and lifelong labor activist, Maurice helps lead a federation representing more than 700,000 workers across Pennsylvania.

Maurice began his union journey in 2004 as an overhead crane operator at the Steelton steel mill, eventually rising through the United Steelworkers and into statewide labor leadership.

For more than two decades, he has fought to strengthen unions, protect working families and ensure workers have a voice.

🔥 We’ve curated a lineup rooted in leadership, labor and the people who power our communities — and we’re just getting started.

🎟️ Get your tickets and join us at the DCDC Fall Fundraiser Mixer!

🎤 GUEST SPEAKER ANNOUNCEMENT

The Dauphin County Democratic Committee is excited to welcome Da’Laine Simpson as a guest speaker at our Fall Fundraiser Mixer!

Da’Laine is a dedicated labor leader, reentry advocate, and community organizer who has spent his career standing up for working people and creating pathways to opportunity.

With 18 years of service at the Defense Logistics Agency, Da’Laine brings firsthand knowledge of the federal workplace to his advocacy. He currently serves as:

🔹 President of AFGE Local 2004
🔹 President of AFGE DLA Council 169
🔹 President of the Harrisburg Central Labor Council

Through these leadership roles, he advocates for federal employees, union members, and working families throughout Central Pennsylvania and across DLA.

His commitment to service extends beyond the workplace. Da’Laine is also the Founder and CEO of Bro2Go Inc., supporting returning citizens and justice-impacted youth and adults through mentoring, workforce development, reentry services, and connections to critical community resources.

Whether advocating for employees in the workplace or helping individuals rebuild their lives after incarceration, Da’Laine is guided by one central belief: every person deserves dignity, representation, and a fair opportunity to succeed.

We’re proud to have this strong voice for labor, second chances, and our Central Pennsylvania communities joining us this fall.

Come connect with Democrats from across Dauphin County, hear from our growing lineup of guest speakers, and support the work of DCDC. Get your tickets here: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/dcdcfall2026
