The energy is contagious, the donations are rolling in and our students are so excited for The Fun Run next Friday!

💥WEEKEND CHALLENGE!💥

It has been decided that if HES reaches $40,000 by Monday, the principals will participate in the Jelly Belly BEAN BOOZLED game!

Haven’t heard of it? If we make our goal, principals will spin the wheel and whatever jelly bean they land on, they have to eat.

Here’s the catch…that white-ish jelly bean they may land on could taste like a yummy marshmallow or an icky stink bug!

Our 4th graders taking part in the Jigsaw Reading Strategy today! Each student became an expert on a specific myth, analyzing key characters, historical context, and distinguishing between various Myth types.
Students then stepped into the teacher role; leading their home groups, sharing their expertise, and learning from one another!

What a week it has been at HES! From Kindergarten chefs practicing math and 1st graders exploring an edible soil lesson to 3rd graders visiting the zoo, our Stingers have been busy learning and growing! We also focused on Confidence and Bravery during our House Meetings, with so many other great moments in between!

Today, our 5th graders got a hands-on introduction to financial literacy! Taught by FinTech students from Hickory Ridge High School, our students explored spending, saving, and investing money.
It was an incredible morning of real-world learning and future-focused exploration. A huge thank you to the FinTech students for sharing your knowledge and inspiring our young learners!
