🚨🚤 Public Service Announcement (from your future self):
“Wait… that was illegal???” 😳

Don’t let your summer boating story turn into a chat with the Sheriff.

Join the Macomb County Sheriff Marine Division for a Boating Safety Class and learn:
⚓ The actual boating laws (yes, there are more than you think)
⚓ What all those buoys really mean (not just vibes)
⚓ How to avoid becoming “that guy” at the launch

Whether you’re a seasoned boater or just along for the ride, knowing the rules keeps everyone safe.

👉 Take the class. Know the laws. Enjoy the water stress-free.

Because “I didn’t know” is not a great defense on the lake.

Get an unfiltered look at justice, responsibility, and real-life consequences with the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office Inside View Program—where choices meet reality.

Macomb County Sheriff’s Office Inside View Program provides participants an opportunity to see first-hand the inside of a detention facility, virtually experience the impact of the loss of personal liberty, and hear first-hand accounts of life in confinement by actual prisoners in a supervised and controlled classroom setting. The program’s goal is to instill the fundamentals of personal discipline, responsibility and service as a deterrent to having contact with the criminal justice system.

Class is scheduled for the first week in March.

It’s winter. The lake is frozen. Your boat is shrink-wrapped like leftovers. Perfect time to learn how not to cause chaos on the water.

One boat. One class. Fewer “well…that escalated quickly” moments.

While your boat is hibernating, the Macomb County Sheriff Marine Division is wide awake—ready to make sure your future boating adventures don’t end with someone saying, “So…we’re never letting you drive again.”

Because “I’ve been on a boat before” is not a safety plan. And nobody wants to be the story that gets retold at every dock, marina, and family BBQ until 2030.

They bring the life jackets, real-world experience, and saint-level patience required to prevent your calm summer cruise from turning into a low-budget action movie called “This Is Why We Have Rules.”

🎬 Winter Premiere: Good Decisions on the Water
Featuring thrilling plot twists like:

Wearing your life vest
Not testing the pontoon’s turning radius “just to see”
Impressing your friends with behavior so responsible it’s suspicious

This FREE Boating Safety Class could save your weekend, your pride, and your group chat reputation. Sign up now, while it’s too cold to actually mess anything up.

Because the only thing that should be going overboard this winter is your hot chocolate… not your passengers.

If you can't make it to our January class, we have another free boating safety class coming in February.

Same boat. Smarter choices. Way fewer “why did we think this was a good idea?” moments.

The Macomb County Sheriff Marine Division is here to make sure your day on the water ends with sunset photos, not incident reports. Because “I watched a guy do this once” is not boating training, and no one wants their name attached to a story that starts with “So there we were…”

They’ve got the life jackets, the expert advice, and the heroic patience required to keep your chill cruise from becoming a live-action tutorial called “Don’t Try This.”

🎥 Feature Presentation: Common Sense, Now Streaming
Highlights include wearing your life vest, keeping the pontoon upright, and earning admiration for making surprisingly good decisions.

This FREE Boating Safety Class can protect your summer, your ego, and your group chat legacy. Sign up before your next outing earns a nickname and a warning label.

Because the only thing that should be going overboard is your to-do list, not your friends.
