🎭 **AMENDMENT 1: WHEN “HELPING” GETS CONSTITUTIONAL PROTECTION**

Virginia already allows family members, friends, and others to help someone obtain a lawful abortion.

Amendment 1 would go further, expressly protecting individuals who consensually assist another person in exercising reproductive freedom.

Here's the question: How would that protection interact with existing parental consent requirements?

The amendment doesn't explicitly repeal parental consent laws, but it also DOESN'T expressly preserve them. That leaves room for legal challenges and judicial interpretation.

🤔 **A constitutional amendment is a lot more permanent than a campaign promise.**

Before voting, read the actual language and consider what it says—and what it leaves for the courts to decide.

It was an honor to recognize the life and legacy of Rodney Eagle, a true pillar of the Harrisonburg community who served our Nation honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps, rising to the rank of Corporal.

Rodney cared deeply for Harrisonburg and dedicated his life to making his community a better place for all. His service, character, and lasting impact will not be forgotten.
