Providing reliable fire and emergency response services requires much more than having firefighters on duty. It includes maintaining fire trucks and equipment, purchasing protective gear, supporting ongoing training, meeting safety standards, and keeping facilities and emergency response tools ready for use at all times.
These investments are essential to ensuring the Fire Department can respond quickly, safely, and effectively when our community needs them.

By sharing more about the resources required to operate the department, our goal is to help residents better understand what it takes to provide this critical service and how these needs impact the future of Harrisonville.
