🏗️💙 Our Oncology space is taking shape!

The teardown is done, and now it’s time to build! We’re excited to share another look at the progress happening right here at St. Aloisius as we work toward bringing oncology care closer to home.

We remain on schedule and are looking forward to welcoming patients into our new oncology space in January 2027!

We also continue our fundraising efforts for this project. If you’re interested in supporting oncology care right here in Harvey, please contact the hospital to learn more about donating.

What a fun afternoon at the elementary school for Scrubs Camp! We love seeing kids get hands-on experience and explore the exciting world of healthcare!

A big shoutout to our very own Sarah G. for organizing everything, and to all the staff from St. Aloisius and our community partners who came out to share their knowledge and have some fun with the students!

Withdrawal from activities, changes in sleep or appetite, persistent worry or irritability, or difficulty with everyday activities can be signs that someone may need additional support. Depression is not a normal part of aging, and it is treatable. National Institute on Aging

Our Senior Life Solutions team encourages families and friends to notice changes, start the conversation, and reach out when something doesn’t seem quite right.
Sometimes, simply asking “How have you really been doing?” is a good place to start. 💚

💙 126 POUNDS! 💙

In honor of St. Vincent de Paul and his mission of serving and caring for others, we set a goal of collecting 100 pounds of food for our local St. Vincent de Paul—and we exceeded it with 126 pounds donated! 🥫🎉

St. Vincent de Paul’s example reminds us of the importance of generosity, compassion, and simply looking out for one another.

Thank you to everyone who donated and helped us surpass our goal. Every item given is a small act of kindness that, together, can make a big difference. 💙

May we continue to follow St. Vincent de Paul’s example by caring for our neighbors and serving our community with compassion. 🙏

Our Long-Term Care residents are getting ready for one of the best parts of Halloween—handing out candy to all the little trick-or-treaters! 👻🧡
Our Activities team is collecting candy donations to make sure our residents have plenty to hand out on Halloween night.

🍫 Donations can be dropped off at the front desk or either LTC Activities Room.

This week, we’re celebrating the crew that keeps St. Aloisius fed! 👏🍴
From preparing meals for our patients and residents to keeping our staff and visitors fueled, our Dietary team plays an important role in caring for our St. Aloisius family every single day.

There is a lot that happens behind the scenes to serve nutritious meals across our facility—and we’re grateful for the people who make it happen.
