It was an incredible community celebration at Hastings High this morning! We celebrated the renovations in the Health Careers classroom that are enabling students to pursue studies in Nursing Assistant and Phlebotomy.

Thanks to Bryan College of Health Sciences for making these renovations financially possible - and thanks to Mary Lanning Healthcare, Mary Lanning Healthcare Foundation, and Central Community College for providing the faculty and certification credit that have these students career focused. This project is truly a community coming together to make great things happen!

Thanks also to the Hastings Area Chamber of Commerce for helping us celebrate in style! (Photos credit: Jose Perez - Hastings Chamber)

What a celebration last night at Watson Elementary School! We cut the ribbon on new playground equipment that was installed as part of the Foundation's Project: Playground campaign.

This $850,000 partnership between the HPS Foundation and Hastings Public Schools has brought playground upgrades to all 5 HPS elementary schools. We are so grateful to the donors from all over the nation who made this possible for the students of HPS - and the entire community who use these spaces for play!
