We are so grateful for the dollars allocated toward Commission on Aging services through this process. Thank you to everyone who supports Barry County United Way's annual campaign. EVERY dollar you donate supports local organizations serving YOUR community ♥️

We are so incredibly proud of the work being done by our partner agencies! But we realized, some may not know exactly who we fund.
These agencies applied for funding through our annual Allocations process. Each application is carefully reviewed by our Committee Investment Committee - a group comprised completely of Barry County United Way donors. They are not only choosing how to invest your dollars, but they are choosing how their own personal investment will be used locally.
This committee takes their job very seriously. They break into smaller groups and review the full agency application, they meet with the agency to get a deeper look into their programming and ask further questions on what they are seeking funding for. After individual groups make their recommendations for funding, the group at large reviews the recommendations and compares them to the total amount to allocate.
Ask any agency, this group truly puts in the work and makes sure that YOUR donor dollars will make the biggest impact possible. Thank you to all who have served on our Community Investment Committee - past, present and future.

Now offering another option for FREE rides from Barry County Transit to Barry County COA! 🚍

Transit will offer a daily weekday pick-up at the Courthouse, beginning October 26th. Pick-up location is at the Trolley Stop on State Street.

Reminder - through the end of the year, all rides to COA are FREE! Schedule a ride from your door to ours - simply by calling Transit!
