THAT’S A WRAP ON THE 2026 PLANE PULL!

What a day! We pulled together, we had a whole lot of fun, and most importantly, our community showed up!

A HUGE thank you to every team who stepped up to pull a REAL plane, everyone who came out to cheer them on, and all of the people who helped make the day happen. 🙌

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS, SAM! 🚗💙

We were so excited to surprise Sam Acosta Castellanos as our newest Wheels for Work recipient!

Sam is a Hastings College student, a HC Scott Scholars, a phlebotomist at Mary Lanning Healthcare and a volunteer with Hastings Literacy Program (the organization that nominated him for Wheels for Work.) 💙

Several of his classmates, co-workers and friends joined us for the surprise presentation, making the moment even more special.

Through Wheels for Work, United Way of South Central Nebraska and Hastings Ford are helping remove transportation barriers and keep local individuals moving forward.

Congratulations, Sam! We’re so excited for you and all that’s ahead. 🚗✨

Today is Give Like Dolly Day! ❤️

Dolly believed that when you’re in a position to help, you should help. She gave generously, dreamed big for children and spent her life finding ways to make a difference in the lives of others.

Today, we’re carrying that spirit forward.

📚 We invite you to by supporting children right here in own community. United Way of South Central Nebraska proudly provides Dolly Parton's Imagination Library to Adams, Clay, Nuckolls and Webster Counties.

🫶 Nearly 1,300 children in South Central Nebraska receive a free book every single month because of the Imagination Library and United Way of South Central Nebraska.

Every community has an opportunity to give a little love, lend a hand and help a child dream a little bigger.
