September 11, 2001 is a day that lives vividly in our head whether we were in New York City or across the world. It’s a day that shook the fire service and this beloved country at the core.

Tomorrow marks 25 years of that devastating day and we would be honored if you would join us at our ceremony to remember the fallen. We understand that many may not be able to attend physically so there will be a livestream on our page tomorrow morning as well.

We also want to hear your story. Where were you the day it happened and how did you feel the following days?

Firefighters Bobby Harrold and Alexis Ciprian went on Partyline this morning to talk with Brandon about the Hastings Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 675's sixth annual Stache Bash on Oct. 24, which will raise funds for the family of Alexis Longshore, who died recently from cancer. All proceeds will go directly to helping with expenses and bringing relief during this difficult time. Bobby and Alexis also got to talk about training within the department and our upcoming change to a 48/96 schedule giving our crews more recovery time after shifts.
