It’s Cybersecurity Awareness Month. Scams, phishing and identity theft can happen to anyone. Take steps to protect yourself:
• Use strong, unique passwords — use more than 12 characters with a mix of letters, numbers and special characters.
• Turn on two-factor authentication whenever possible. This adds an extra layer of protection.
• Think before you click. Don’t click on any suspicious links or open emails from unverified senders.
