The TangleTown Playground Steering Committee extends our heartfelt thanks to Independent Bank President & CEO Brad Kessel for their generous $15,000 donation toward rebuilding TangleTown Playground at Bob King Park!

Your investment means so much to our community. Thank you for believing in this project and helping us create an inclusive playground where children of all abilities can play, families can connect, and everyone has a place. Your generosity is helping build something that will bring joy to Hastings and surrounding communities families for generations to come! We truly believe this will be a destination playground for everyone.

We also want to give a HUGE shout-out to the 44 incredible bank employees who took charge for demolition and cleanup! Your time, hard work, and willingness to roll up your sleeves made a real difference. We are so grateful for every person who showed up to help prepare TangleTown for its next chapter!

Beginning Monday, November 9, 2026, Highpoint Community Bank customers will begin banking with Independent Bank. Independent Bank is already showing its customers and community that it cares!

Brad Kessel and the entire Independent Bank team, thank you for showing what community investment truly looks like. When local businesses, dedicated volunteers, and generous supporters come together, we can accomplish incredible things.

TangleTown is a reminder of what makes our community special: people coming together to create something bigger than themselves. Because of partners like you, we are building more than a playground. We are building connections, creating opportunities, and making sure every child in our community has a place to belong. That is the kind of legacy that makes a lasting difference. 💚

Yesterday was a BIG day for TangleTown Playground as demolition got underway, and we want to give a HUGE shoutout to TNT Disposal for stepping up and helping make it happen!

They generously provided a dumpster AND haul-away services to help us with our playground demolition project at Bob King Park. Having local businesses willing to jump in, lend a hand, and support our community makes a HUGE difference, and we truly cannot thank them enough!

THIS is what community is all about! ❤️ Neighbors helping neighbors, local businesses supporting local families, and everyone coming together to build something amazing for our kids and future generations.

If you're looking for a business that shows up for its community, please consider giving TNT Disposal your support! When businesses show up for us, let's show up for them, too! 👏

From all of us at TangleTown Playground, THANK YOU for being part of this journey! We appreciate you more than you know! 💚

We're one step closer to building something AMAZING! 🛝✨
