Finally FRIDAY!!! This was the best day ever and a time to celebrate the staff at OAK RIDGE 🖤 they do so much. They bring their full hearts to each and every shift they work. From the RAs, Dietary, Housekeeping, Maintenance and the entire office team. We truly appreciate all they do. Today was for them we hope they enjoyed lunch with a DJ and flash back to the 80s with a glow stick party!! Ain’t no party like an 80s party!! We hope the team knows how amazing they are!!

We are having so much fun this week with the dress up days! It’s great to see everyone getting so creative with each day!
Tuesday was 50s we also served a themed lunch with burgers, fries and malts! It was a hit.
Wednesday was 70s I think this was the best day ever the memories the residents and staff had during this liv my free time was so fun.
Thursday was 90s it’s funny to think this style never really left us and is making a big come back now. Check out the few pictures we took. We are to busy having fun.

Mary, Mary quite contrary, how does your garden grow?

We voted and!!!!!! We are Thinking we’ve had enough of the heat wave. And getting excited for bonfires and gorgeous fall colors. I know we’ve mentioned the talent we have before but sometimes we just have to brag more. Also we drew a winner for the monthly basket. He was very happy with his prize.

Shopping? Did someone say shopping??? Yes we did and we loved every minute of it. Each resident had a chance to shop til you drop at the monthly store. By the looks on everyone faces a great time was had!!

St.Paul can’t have all the fun. We brought the fair to Oak Ridge! Starting with lunch, followed by a cheese curd sampling, games and prizes. Don’t tell anyone we got to skip the heat as well. 💙🥒 🧀 🧁 💙

Did a little crafting this morning. We personalized photo frames with puzzle pieces. It was so fun looking for that perfect piece. We then followed with a movie with a special treat in the afternoon. Overall it was a fantastic Thursday 🖤
