It's been a busy week for the department. We held a special election to replace Lieutenant Caleb Wertz as he and his family are embarking on a new adventure. We greatly appreciate their service to our community and our department and wish them the very best. We welcome to the role of Lieutenant Sara Reyher. Sara has been on the department several years and is an EMT/ firefighter. Today in conjunction with the La Junta Fire & EMS crew we held fire prevention education for the kiddos of the McClave School. Thank you to all involved !!
