Our final Haven High School Intern Spotlight for 2024 is Jillian Beckler!

Haven High School Seniors have the opportunity to take internship classes and be placed at a site that aligns with their career interest. This gives students the opportunity to explore and experience what their future career might look like.

We want to give a special thanks to Mrs. Weiss-Rhodes, Mrs. Teter, Haven Middle School, and Haven High School for hosting this intern.

Both Wildcat teams walked away with big wins tonight! The girls game finished 60-4 while the boys score was 62-28. Both teams remain undefeated and look to continue their streaks on Friday in Belle Plaine!

Students are members of Miss Wilson’s Entrepreneurship class and created these businesses throughout the semester.

It was a busy weekend for our Wildcats! Both of our boys and girls basketball teams went undefeated and won the Eagle Classic. Gatlin Rinehart, Dalton Bontrager, Sienna DeFrain, and Avery Brawner were awarded positions on their all-tournament teams. We also had many of our wrestlers medal at the Clay Center Invitational. Top placers for this event were both Trista Rogers and Haydan Willams who took 2nd place in their weight classes for the girls, while Dante De Virgilio took 2nd and Jacob Moore took 3rd for the boys. It’s another weekend full of activities for the Wildcats! The wrestling team will be traveling to compete in Clay Center beginning at 9:00 today. Also, both our boys and girls basketball teams will be playing in the championship games of the Eagle Classic this evening. The girls will take the court at 6:00 and the boys will play around 7:30. The Wildcats swept the Celtics last night in their season opener! The the girls won 60-25, while the boys score was 65-27. Both teams will be competing in the Eagle Classic next week in Kingman. The girls will be playing their first game on Thursday at 3:00, followed by the boys at 4:30. Great start to the season Wildcats!

Happy Holidays from the HHS Staff! The staff got an early present, a Haven Holiday Hoodie, from the admin.

It’s opening day for our winter activities! The girls wrestling team will be competing out in Pratt today, with the boys following them up on the mat tomorrow. Congratulations to Derek Wells for signing with the Army. Good luck to Derek when he heads to basic training and eventually Ranger school.

Yesterday our juniors and seniors went angel tree shopping at Target for our local angels. Our students raised a substantial amount of money to ensure our local kiddos have an amazing Christmas! Thank you to everyone that contributed.

The Haven JV Scholars Bowl team placed 1st at the Central Christian Scholars Bowl Tournament yesterday! Nora Percy won a 1st place medal as the Highest Scorer at the tournament. Great job Wildcats!
