Can’t wait for Friday! Who’s with me????

Haven senior QB Brogan Wray continues to lead the Wildcats during their impressive undefeated start.

Wray is averaging nearly 220 passing yards per game with eight touchdowns and just one interception this season while adding 10 more touchdowns on the ground. He has also been a major contributor defensively, averaging 8.4 tackles per game.

In Friday’s 42-14 win over Marion, Wray completed 15 of 21 passes with two touchdowns and added two more scores on the ground. The senior earned S*K All-State Non-Senior honors at quarterback last season along with first-team all-district honors at both quarterback and defensive back.

Haven is now 5-0 for its best start since 1985 and will look to stay unbeaten this week on the road at Larned.

🐾 A’Cat’emy Awards 🐾

We’re doing something a little different with our Student of the Month recognition this year! We are now calling it the A’Cat’emy Awards, and each month we will recognize students who demonstrate Wildcat P.R.I.D.E. — Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Determination, and Excellence.

These students were nominated by our HHS staff and selected by a building-wide vote. I love that this gives us a chance to recognize students for who they are and how they show up for others, not just what they accomplish academically. Student also have the opportunity to nominate their peers.

Congratulations to our first A’Cat’emy Award winners! 💛🖤

Kain Wray — Perseverance
Wyatt Bontrager — Respect
Amelia Scott — Integrity
Brooke Loop — Determination
Abby Thalmann — Excellence

We are so proud of you! Keep being the kind of Wildcats who make Haven High School a better place. 🐾

HHS seniors took full advantage of the opportunity to visit with college reps from around the state at the College Planning Fair. They also humored their counselor who was taking pictures like a shamelessly proud parent. The future is bright! 🎓

A little look back at last Friday’s Homecoming fun! From our grade school walkthrough and pep assembly to celebrating our Homecoming Court under the Friday night lights, it was a GREAT day to be a Wildcat! 🖤💛

We loved seeing our Wildcats show up, show out, and bring the energy as we geared up for Hillsboro!

And guess what… we’re HOME this Friday! Next up: Douglass!

Let’s pack the stands and keep that Wildcat spirit rolling! 🐾
