Big milestones are ahead! 🎒 Did you know staying on WIC until age 5 helps prepare your child for kindergarten? When kids drop off WIC at age 1, they miss out on critical years of nutrition and health resources right when their brains and bodies are growing the fastest. Mass WIC is your partner through the toddler and preschool years by providing:
➡️Healthy Foods: Monthly benefits for fresh produce, whole grains, and dairy to fuel active minds.
➡️Growth Tracking: Free regular check-ins with caring nutrition experts to make sure your child is hitting their milestones.
➡️Community Connections: Referrals to local dental care, immunization clinics, and childcare resources.
Don't leave free grocery money and health support on the table. Let’s get them ready for the classroom together!
🔗 Tap the link in our bio or visit Mass.gov/WIC to keep your child enrolled.

🛒 Shopping with WIC and EBT? Remember this quick trick! 💳
If you use both a WIC card and an EBT card (SNAP) for your groceries, the checkout order matters to make sure you get all your savings!
Always follow the "WIC First" rule at the register:
1. Swipe your WIC card FIRST. This ensures all your WIC-approved items (like milk, eggs, cereal, and produce) are deducted from your WIC balance first.
2. Swipe your EBT card SECOND. Use your SNAP benefits or cash balance to pay for any remaining eligible groceries.
3. Pay any remaining balance with cash, debit, or credit if needed.
Swiping WIC first prevents your EBT balance from accidentally paying for items that WIC would have covered for free!
