Save bikes from the Landfill! Bikes do not in out with curbside recyling collection. 🚲

If your bike is still in working condition, please consider donating it to a local charity or donation center where it can find a new home.

If your bike is no longer in working condition or is beyond repair, we’ll accept it at our recycling center free of charge. It will be added to our scrap metal pile and recycled rather than sent to the landfill.

Give your bike a second chance—or recycle it responsibly! ♻️

🚨 Drought Emergency Update – Outdoor Watering Now Fully Banned 🚨

Kenoza Lake, Haverhill’s primary drinking water source, has dropped into the Critical Drought Zone and is now 9.7 feet below average. The recent rainfall has been extremely minimal and has had no measurable effect on restoring reservoir levels. Our water supply continues to decline, and conditions remain severe.

To protect the city’s drinking water, all outdoor watering is now prohibited, except for a small list of essential uses such as food production, livestock care, irrigation using stored stormwater, and limited water use needed for certain business or public operations.

Indoor water conservation is more important than ever. Please help by:

• Fixing leaks
• Running full loads
• Taking shorter showers
• Using water‑efficient fixtures

Businesses should review and reduce water use, repair leaks promptly, and comply with all restrictions.

For full details, permitted uses, and ongoing updates, please visit the City of Haverhill website at:
