The first Monday of the month, Bon Air takes the opportunity to train at the shared township burn tower to go over real life scenarios.

Tonight’s simulation was basement fires. Members went through the motions of laddering the fire building and entering the first floor into the basement while doing primary searches.

While accompanied by a company officer, our probationary (newer) members had hands on experience with the intense heat, flowing water and how to hydraulically ventilate using the hoseline out a window.
