Our 1st and 4th grade students enjoyed a trip to the library last week to hear David Ward present Paul Bunyan: Logging, Legends, and Lore! 🌲 Students learned about Paul Bunyan and the fun history and stories behind this legendary lumberjack. What a great learning experience! 📚 Hawley Public Library

🎨 A Homecoming tradition everyone loves — Face Painting Day! 💛
Fun fact: Did you know Ms. McEvers, Mrs. Sufficool, and Ms. Karla started this tradition 15 years ago with just their fourth graders? It’s so fun to see how much it has grown and evolved over the years!
A big THANK YOU to all of our volunteers who helped make this such a fun morning for our Nuggets!

Our Lost & Found is filling up!

10/13/2026

☀️🌿 Our 2nd–4th grade students at Spring Prairie are getting creative with Ms. Manthe!
Students made cyanotype sun prints using materials they collected from nature! They arranged their nature finds on special sun-printing paper, headed outside for about 15 minutes, and watched the sun work its magic. After soaking their paper in water, their beautiful nature-inspired designs came to life!
What a fun way to combine art, nature, and a little science! 🎨
