🚨 IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR OPENING DAY IN HAYDEN — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY! 🚨

We are SO excited to see everyone Monday morning, but we need your help to make opening day run as smoothly and safely as possible! ☕️🖤

🚗 DRIVE-THRU TRAFFIC FLOW (map below)

When you pull into the parking lot, turn RIGHT and follow the drive-thru around the BACK of the building. Follow the painted lines and arrows to stay in the correct order!

👀 KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN! We will have team members walking the line with a handheld device to take orders ahead of time in hopes of speeding up service and getting your favorite drinks into your hands faster!

🚨 PLANNING TO ARRIVE EARLY AND LINE UP? READ THIS!

DO NOT LET THE LINE BACK UP ONTO HIGHWAY 160! 🚫

If you’re arriving early, please line up toward the Mac Shack/Smoke Rise. We will have police officers directing traffic, so please follow their instructions and be respectful of the traffic flow.

We CANNOT block Highway 160. Keeping traffic moving and everyone safe is our top priority!

We know opening day is going to be exciting, and we appreciate every single one of you who plans to show up and support us. Let’s make this a morning to remember, Hayden! 🖤☕️

Beyond the Call - Mrs. Diane Eubank

10/08/2026

Beginning tomorrow at 10:00 AM, we are excited to launch a special series of videos entitled “Beyond the Call” featuring members of our community sharing their personal stories and the impact West Blount Fire & EMS has had on their lives.

Each video tells a different story. Different people, different circumstances, and different experiences. But they all share one common theme: When our community needs us, West Blount Fire & EMS stands ready to answer the call.

These are more than just stories about emergency responses. They are stories about our neighbors, our families, and the community we are proud to serve.

We hope you’ll join us as we share these powerful stories and the voices of those who matter most…the people we serve.

MORE GREAT NEWS FOR WEST BLOUNT FIRE!

We have officially received notification that our grant request through the CAWACO RC&D Council has been FULLY FUNDED!

This $20,000 grant will go directly toward the construction of our new Fire Station 5.

Once completed, Station 5 will mark a major milestone for our district by bringing EVERY resident of the West Blount Fire & EMS District within 5 road miles of a fire station!

This is another important step toward improving fire protection, response capabilities, and our overall level of service to the citizens we serve.

A special thank you to Congressman Robert Aderholt, Representative David Standridge, Commissioner Allen Armstrong, and Commissioner Chase Moore for their support in helping us pursue this funding.

We’re excited about the progress being made and look forward to sharing more updates as Station 5 becomes a reality!

Exciting News!

West Blount Fire and EMS has been awarded $72,285 to purchase turnout gear for our firefighters as well as a washer/extractor and dryer to properly clean the gear when needed.

This funding not only propels our department forward 10 years in maintaining PPE Life Cycle compliance but also ensures that we are taking nearly every step possible in protecting our firefighters by limiting long term exposure to carcinogens.

You may notice some new signs going up around town!

The West Blount Fire & EMS District has partnered with Alabama PALS to do our part in helping keep our community and roadways clean.

We’ve adopted Mile Marker 3 through Mile Marker 6 along State Highway 160, the main thoroughfare that runs right through the heart of our district.

Through this two-year agreement, West Blount Fire & EMS is committing to routine litter and debris pickup along this stretch of Highway 160.

We spend a lot of time serving this community, and we’re proud to call it home. This is just one more way we can give back and do our part to keep Alabama, Blount County, Hayden, and the West Blount Fire District beautiful!
