🚧LOW WATER CROSSING REPLACEMENT PROJECT: ROAD CLOSURE🚧

📍Location: 1800 Block of Grants Villa Road (between 270th Ave & 280th Ave)

✅ Project Start Date: Tuesday, September 8, 2026

🛑 Expected Completion: Thursday, October 1, 2026

The Ellis County Public Works Road & Bridge Division is announcing that a low water crossing replacement project will be taking place in the 1800 block of Grants Villa Road, starting on Tuesday, September 8th. This area will be closed to all traffic for the duration of the project. Motorists traveling in the affected closure area should use alternate routes of travel until the project is complete. The project is expected to be completed by Thursday, October 1st, pending weather conditions.

The Ellis County Public Works Road & Bridge Division is announcing that a culvert replacement project will be taking place in the 2600 block of Butterfield Trail, starting on Monday, August 31st. This area will be closed to all traffic for the duration of the project. Motorists traveling in the affected closure area should use alternate routes of travel until the project is complete. The project is expected to be completed by Monday, September 14th, pending weather conditions
