Thank you for participating in our annual Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day event!

Your presence, energy, and support helped us honor Ruby Bridges’ legacy of courage and continue meaningful conversations about equity, inclusion, and standing up for what is right. Together, we are creating a community where every student feels seen, valued, and empowered.

Dear HUSD community, there is a social media post making the rounds saying that federal immigration agents have visited Hayward schools today. There has been *no* enforcement activity at any HUSD school, nor at any other Hayward schools to our knowledge.

This is an anxious time for our immigrant community. We implore people to be careful about spreading rumors that have not been verified. Thank you.

Muchas Gracias.
