East Perry Elementary Miners Welcome to East Perry Elementary- Home of the MINERS! The involvement of all stakeholders is extremely important for the achievement of our students.

We have a wonderful school with a dedicated and committed faculty whose main goal is to provide the best education possible to the students at East Perry Elementary and the surrounding community. East Perry was established in 2013 creating the beginning of an exceptional educational environment where students are the top priority and success is viewed as a necessity for the preparation of student endeavors for the 21st century. There are several ways for everyone to contribute to the success of our educational environment. Encouragement and support for students by parents and staff, as well as, effort and commitment from students, contribute to the attainment of student growth. Student progress can be monitored on statewide and district assessments, report cards (grades), and daily assignments/homework. Feel free to ask questions to your childโ€™s teacher(s) and administrators at East Perry. As our school mission statement says, โ€œEast Perry Miners Strive for Excellenceโ€ and this could not be accomplished without your support. Thank you for all you do to make our school truly exceptional.

๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿˆ Our amazing art teacher does it all!

Mrs. Dixon has spent the week letting all of her classes carve pumpkins, but still made time for students to create signs for our basketball and football players for their post season games! ๐Ÿ–คโค๏ธ

Thank you, Tracy, for sharing your creativity, making special memories for our students, and always finding ways to spread Miner spirit! Your time and heart mean so much to our school. We appreciate you! โ›๏ธ

โค๏ธ๐Ÿ–ค A little secret support, a whole lot of Miner love!

A HUGE thank you to our teachers who served as secret supporters by sponsoring a girls basketball player or boys football player this week as they prepared for important postseason tournament games! ๐Ÿ€๐Ÿˆ

Your thoughtful surprises and encouragement reminded our student athletes that they have people in their corner cheering them on, both in the classroom and on the court or field. I captured a few pictures, but they show only a small fraction of the kindness and support shared this week! Every student on these teams had a secret supporter making sure they felt encouraged, celebrated, and loved! โค๏ธ

We have the most amazing staff! Thank you for going above and beyond for our Miners! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ–ค Shout-out to Mrs. Madi for the amazing idea!

๐Ÿ“šโž• Small groups, BIG learning!

Mrs. Kayla Nobleโ€™s first graders have been busy using studios to review what theyโ€™ve learned in reading and math! These activities give our young Miners opportunities to practice their skills, build confidence, and put their learning into action. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ–ค

Keep digging deep and shining bright, first grade! ๐ŸŒŸ

๐ŸŽญ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ History came to life in Mrs. Hollidayโ€™s 8th Grade Social Studies class!

Our students worked in groups to create and perform skits reenacting the events leading up to the American Revolution. They brought history to life while collaborating with their teammates, demonstrating their understanding of the events that pushed the colonies toward independence.

Through this activity, students practiced teamwork, creativity, and communication while strengthening their understanding of an important time in American history.

๐Ÿ‘ฎโญ Meet our East Perry Junior Officer of the Week: 5th grader Holden Farler!

Each week, our SRO, Mr. Abner, selects a student who demonstrates integrity, service, respect, safety, leadership, and courage.

Over the last couple of weeks, Mr. Abner has noticed Holden offering a helping hand on multiple occasions. From carrying books for his peers and holding doors for others to walking his sister to class, Holdenโ€™s thoughtful actions show how everyday kindness makes a difference!

Congratulations, Holden! Weโ€™re proud of you for setting a positive example for our Miners! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ–ค
