According to Reuters, Kentucky’s U.S. Senate race is getting tighter.

Democrat Charles Booker’s internal polling now shows him within single digits of Republican Andy Barr in the race to replace dying Mitch McConnell, even though Kentucky voted heavily for Trump in 2024.

Barr still has about a $2 million cash advantage, and major race ratings continue to favor Republicans, but Reuters reports Democrats now see Kentucky as part of an expanded Senate map.
