Recently, our Kentucky River District Health Department Breastfeeding Peer Counselors and Supervisor attended their quarterly meeting at the Lexington Public Library. This meeting is hosted by the Kentucky State Breastfeeding Program and provides an opportunity for peer counselors and supervisors to connect, learn, share experiences, and continue strengthening breastfeeding support in our communities. If you would like more information on Breastfeeding please call your local health department and ask to speak to a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor.
