REMEMBERING GARY SCOTT “SCOTTY” SANDLIN

Today marks two years since we lost a dear friend, colleague, and dedicated public servant, Gary Scott “Scotty” Sandlin.

Scotty dedicated much of his life to serving and protecting the people of Perry County. From his years in law enforcement and retirement as a sergeant with the Kentucky State Police to his service as Perry County’s ABC and Code Enforcement Officer, his commitment to our community never wavered.

But Scotty was much more than a badge or a title. He was a friend, a coworker, and someone who genuinely loved Perry County and its people.

Those of us who had the privilege of working alongside Scotty will always remember his friendship, his dedication, and the pride he took in serving our community. His presence is still missed throughout the courthouse and across Perry County.

The Perry County Fiscal Court remembers Scotty with gratitude and extends its thoughts and prayers to his family, friends, and everyone whose life he touched.

Two years later, you are still missed, Scotty. Thank you for everything you did for Perry County. Gone, but never forgotten.
