What a way to close out the 25-26 school year!

During our last day of school assembly, we celebrated the successes of last week’s Field Day while recognizing some truly outstanding Greyhounds. From awesome readers to incredible athletes, our students showed determination, teamwork, perseverance, and school pride all year long. We are so proud of everything they accomplished and can’t wait to see what next year brings. Have a safe and fun summer, Greyhounds! 🐾🎉📚🏅

Have you registered your child the 26-27 school year? Registration is completed in Infinite Campus. If you need assistance, please call 314-953-4202 and the school’s secretary will be more than happy to assist. The office is also open from 8:30am-4:30pm each day. 🐾💙

If you register:
✔️your child can start on the first day (Aug. 24th)
✔️your child will be assigned a teacher
✔️your child may be routed for bus transportation, if needed

Hard work + determination = PIE TIME! 🥧

Students who met their end-of-year goals in reading and/or math earned the chance to throw one or even TWO pies at staff members today! From kindergarten through 5th grade, students celebrated their growth and achievements in the sweetest way possible.

Several of our teachers were great sports as their faces were absolutely clobbered with pies by excited students who worked hard all year long to reach their goals. The laughter, cheers, and whipped cream-filled smiles said it all — hard work truly paid off with pies! 🎉📚➕🥧

Families have until MAY 22 to register for Summer School and remain eligible for transportation! 🚌

After May 22, students may still register, but transportation will NOT be guaranteed.

June 2 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

📚 Summer School Dates:
June 3–June 25
Monday–Thursday
8:50 a.m.–1:50 p.m.

Our older superheroes made a special visits to primary classrooms to surprise a younger student who demonstrated ‘their ‘character trait this year. From kindness and grit to responsibility and perseverance, these students showed what it truly means to be a Greyhound hero! 🦸🏽‍♂️🦸🏼‍♀️

The smiles, excitement, and unforgettable moments made each visit extra special. We are so proud of all of our student superheroes and can’t wait to see who will rise to the challenge next year! 💙🐾

Before they walk across the stage in a few days, our high school seniors took one more walk through the halls where it all began. Today, these seniors returned to their elementary school as real-life superheroes for our students — inspiring little eyes with big dreams.💙

From these classrooms to graduation caps, their journey is proof that hard work, growth, and perseverance pay off. Our Greyhounds cheered them on every step of the way, and we can’t wait to see all they accomplish next. Once a part of Garrett, always a part of Garrett. 🎓🐾

Spring may still be trying to make up its mind, but our Student Council is already bringing the season to life. 🌱🌷

With the help and guidance of Ms. Grimes and Ms. Sutton, students spent time potting plants while learning the importance of teamwork, responsibility, and caring for our school community.🐾💙
