Keep your child secure with two essential car seat checks:

● Chest Clip: Position at armpit level on the hard part of the chest, avoiding the stomach.
● Pinch Test: If you can pinch the harness webbing, the straps are too loose.
The right car seat matters. Get a free car seat check at clickit.utah.gov.

Always use the top tether on forward-facing car seats:

● Anchor It: Secure the tether strap directly to the marked anchor point in your vehicle.

● Prevent Injury: The tether reduces forward motion in a crash, stopping your child's head from striking the vehicle's interior.

The right car seat matters. Get a free car seat check at clickit.utah.gov.
