🎉💙 Exciting News for WRAAA’s Cleburne County Food Pantry!💙🎉

Our Cleburne County office was recently awarded TWO “Feeding Forward” grants from the Arkansas Foodbank!

Sharon Johnson, Family Caregiver Coordinator, and Cortney Krousey, Care Manager, attended the award luncheon expecting $5,000 but received an exciting surprise — a total of $8,500! 🙌

These funds will help purchase a refrigerator, shelving, and insulated food carriers to improve food storage and safely deliver nutritious food to homebound seniors facing food insecurity.

👏 **Congratulations, Cleburne County!** And a heartfelt THANK YOU to the Arkansas Foodbank for helping us make a difference in the lives of those we serve! 💙

Federal funding for Meals on Wheels is not keeping pace with demand, leaving millions of seniors like Mimi, Abuelo, Gigi and Gramps waiting for meals and moments of connection. The MeMaw Is Waiting campaign highlights this growing crisis and rallies supporters to contact their members of Congress urging them to increase funding for Meals on Wheels.
