❤️ SENIOR NIGHT RECAP: A NIGHT TO REMEMBER IN PANTHER NATION 🏈
Friday, October 16, was a special evening at Heber Springs as we celebrated our seniors, honored Panther traditions, and cheered our football team to an exciting 62–40 victory over the Mayflower Eagles.
Our seniors representing cheer, dance, football, band, golf, cross country, and tennis were recognized for their accomplishments both on and off the field. These students are more than athletes and performers; they are leaders, role models, and ambassadors for our community. We are proud of the dedication, character, and school spirit they have demonstrated throughout their time at Heber Springs.
Our band brought a little extra magic to the stadium with its halftime performance, “Pirates,” featuring music from Pirates of the Caribbean. Students have embraced their pirate characters by choreographing a kidnapping scene, helping boosters build a pirate ship prop, and perfecting the iconic music audiences know and love. Their hard work has already paid off at the Cabot Invitational and the Morrilton Devil Dog Invitational, where the band earned Excellent ratings at both competitions and brought home multiple trophies. We are proud of their creativity, teamwork, and dedication!
Our cheer and dance teams brought incredible energy, enthusiasm, and Panther pride to the stadium! Through their spirited routines, sharp choreography, and dedication, they helped create an exciting atmosphere for players and fans alike. Their hard work and commitment shine through every performance, and they continue to represent Heber Springs with talent, confidence, and school spirit. We are grateful for the time and effort they put into making Friday nights special for our entire Panther community.
We were honored to welcome the Bicentennial Class of 1976 as they celebrated their 50-year reunion. This memorable class made its mark as 12A District Champions with a 7–3 conference record. It was wonderful to celebrate five decades of Panther history and reconnect with alumni who remain part of our school’s legacy.
One highlight that deserves special recognition was lineman #71 Brody Loethen scoring a touchdown—a rare and exciting moment that added to an already memorable night.
From celebrating our seniors and welcoming back alumni to enjoying outstanding performances and a Panther victory, Friday night reflected the pride and connection that make our school community so special.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and showed support for our students, athletes, performers, and alumni. Your Panther spirit makes these moments meaningful.
Once a Panther, always a Panther. ❤️
