As in years past, in-person or virtual attendance is accepted, and recordings of missed days can be viewed for credit up until the mid-December deadline.

Hebron Fire Protection District would like to congratulate our own Fire Chief, Adam Peddicord, on his appointment to the Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services (KBEMS), representing the Kentucky Association of Fire Chiefs.

The Kentucky Board of EMS is comprised of 13 members from across the Commonwealth, representing a variety of backgrounds and perspectives within emergency medical services. Chief Peddicord brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Board, with a professional background that includes service as a Paramedic, Emergency Department Nurse, Flight Paramedic, EMS Educator, and Family Nurse Practitioner.

We are incredibly proud to see Chief Peddicord represent Kentucky’s fire service at the state level and have the utmost confidence that his experience, leadership, and commitment to EMS will serve the Board and the Commonwealth well.

Those of you driving along Graves Road in Hebron may be wondering what these structures are!

For the first time in 25 years, Station 42 is undergoing its first major renovation, including a significant addition to the existing building. These improvements will help modernize the station and ensure it can continue serving the growing northern portion of Hebron for many years to come.

Completing a full station renovation while maintaining the same level of service to our community comes with plenty of logistical challenges. These temporary buildings will serve as sleeping quarters and recreational areas for our crews during various phases of construction, allowing Station 42 to remain operational throughout the renovation.

A special thank you to the Northern Kentucky Healthcare Planning Coalition, Bluegrass Healthcare Planning Coalition, and St. Elizabeth Healthcare for their support, assistance, and for allowing us to temporarily utilize these portable buildings. We greatly appreciate their partnership and willingness to help make this project possible!
