Saturday is our last open day at the center for this season - spend it in nature with us!

The education season comes to a close on this Saturday, August 22nd at Paradise Point Nature Center in Hebron. Join us for one last opportunity to check out our updated exhibits and rent a canoe or kayak to paddle on Newfound Lake! Our naturalist will be available to answer questions and offer hiking recommendations all day.

Greetings from Paradise Point Nature Center and Newfound Audubon Center Naturalist Jake!

"It has been an active summer for the birds and visitors of Paradise Point! Bald eagles and loons have been a near-daily sighting on the north shores of Newfound Lake, with fledgling eagles stretching out their wings and joining in on the fun in the last week or two. Rotating nature art projects and updated exhibits at the nature center will continue to be offered every Saturday now through August 22nd, so there is still plenty of time to come take a walk or rent a boat to see what kind of wildlife you might encounter. We are also excited to offer a series of special programs throughout the month of August including stargazing at Ash Cottage and a nature writing and eco-poetry workshop, so be sure to check out our Events Calendar and stop by for a visit before the end of the season!"
