The City operates the sewer, water, and electrical systems. There are 12 camping spots available with electrical hookups at the east and west ball parks.

The City also maintains the local cemetery which is located west of town. The Community is a friendly, pleasant place to live and is very active in annual local events, including the annual church fall bazaars and firemen breakfast. We are located near the Sand Lake Wildlife Refuge and James River with a variety of wildlife to see.
