Stand with us and the sisterhood of YWCA's across the nation and globe on October 11th!

UN International Day of the Girl Child is a worldwide day of observance held annually on October 11 to recognize girls’ rights and to draw attention to the issues and challenges that can keep girls from accessing equal opportunity, safety, and health. We mark this date as a key moment to lift our shared mission and to call for action.

Child marriage creates barriers to the ability of girls to access education and financial stability and significantly increases the likelihood of experiencing domestic violence for children into their adulthood.

Thank you Opportunity Bank for making room for all people in Montana. Thank you for believing in our mission and for being our premier sponsor for this year‘s benefit breakfast.

We were pleased to join YWCA Helena at their Rise & Shine Benefit Breakfast yesterday as an event sponsor, where our leadership team presented a Member Impact Fund grant in partnership with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines. The grant will help support YWCA Helena's program services and the important work they do for individuals and families in our community.

As movement makers and activators, our voices have the power to shape – and shake up – the landscape when it comes to the issues that matter most to our lives. From quality, affordable childcare to access to paid family and medical leave; from accessible, legal abortion care to safety from gender-based violence – these are the policies that express our values and form the foundations of our daily life. Looking good is part of feeling good. If you are able, please consider donating a new, unopened, regular size product to our house. We used this campaign at last year's Empowered event and it was a smashing success. We have several new residents who would be delighted to benefit from a new bottle of face wash, shampoo, etc.
